• Account Information: Full name, email, school, grade, lunch period
• Profile Information: Bio, avatar color, profile photos
• Activity Data: Crew requests sent/received, groups joined, messages sent
• Device Information: Device type, app version, timestamps
• Usage Analytics: Pages visited, features used (for improvement only)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To match you with other students at your school
• To facilitate messaging and group chats
• To moderate and enforce our Terms of Service
• To improve the app experience
• To respond to support requests

We do NOT sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

4. Data Storage & Security

• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• We use industry-standard security practices
• Access is limited to authorized staff only
• Messages are retained for 90 days for safety/moderation purposes
• Account data is retained until deletion

5. Your Rights

Access: You can request a copy of your data anytime

Delete: You can delete your account and all associated data in Settings

Opt-out: You can disable analytics in app settings

6. COPPA Compliance

LunchCrew is designed for high school students (13+). We comply with COPPA and do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If we learn of such data, we delete it immediately.

7. Third-Party Services

We use:

• Firebase (Google) — for authentication and database
• Sentry — for error tracking (no personal data)

These services have their own privacy policies.

8. Chat Moderation

Messages in group chats are monitored for harassment, explicit content, and safety violations. Flagged content may be reviewed by our moderation team.

9. Parental Rights

Parents/guardians of users under 18 can request a copy of their child's data, request deletion of their child's account, or contact us with concerns.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance.
